The authors have analyzed legal regulation and developed a model for implementing practical training of the students of medical and non-medical educational institutions on a basis of the public bureau for forensic medical expertise in the areas «Forensic medical expertise» and «Forensic medicine». The relevance of this problem for improving professional training of the staff of public institutions of forensic medical expertise, agencies of inquiry and preliminary investigation and courts has been pointed out. It is shown that one of the most important requirements to the educational process is to protect the students and professors from the adverse influence of external biological and physical factors which may occur in the course of examination of the corpses, living persons and material evidences of biological and non-biological nature. It is stressed that this requirement is obligatory and is one of the basic principles of public health protection, observing the people’s rights in the field of health care and ensuring these rights with the State guarantees
