Development of nosocomial infection at the resuscitation and intensive care unit leads to increase in duration of hospital stay, number of lethal outcomes and cost of treatment. Efficiency of therapeutic measures is determined by promptness of sanitation of foci of infection and adequacy of antibiotic therapy which shall be based on microbiological landscape data and resistance of local microorganisms.
