According to the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia in 2023 26,1% of the persons recognized unfit for further service by the departmental military medical commission suffered from circulatory diseases. At the same time a study conducted in 2024 by the Moscow medical department of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia found, that up to 20% of the examined officers with elevated blood pressure who have reached age limit for the service, can suffer from stage III hypertension disease with severe vascular disorders.
