Metabolic disorders contribute to the premature development of arterial stiffness and form phenotypic modulations of heart and vessel remodeling. Adverse effect of metabolic disorders on hemodynamics of the cardiovascular system has been detected. Fixed combination of perindopril and amlodipine determined positive effect on the dynamics of vascular stiffness parameters in patients with arterial hypertension: vascular stiffness index, maximal arterial pressure increase rate dP/dtmax, central pressure in the aorta SYSao. At the same time the issue of duration of the treatment in the framework of angioprotection needs further study and detailed analysis.
