INFLUENCE OF CLINICAL AND DEMOGRAPHIC FACTORS ON THE TWO-YEAR RESULTS OF ARTHROMEDULLAR BYPASS IN GONARTHROSIS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article studies the influence of clinical and demographic factors of gonarthrosis on the outcomes of arthroscopic treatment with the use of arthromedullar bypass (AMB) of the knee joint. In all known cases bypass of the joint ensured better treatment outcomes. The use of AMB is justified when conservative therapies fail and factors aggravating gonarthritis are present.

Keywords:
gonarthrosis, arthromedullar bypass, patient’s age, body mass index, nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs, treatment outcomes
