Abstract:
Treatment of diabetes is based on a strict control of glucose, blood pressure and lipid spectrum. However even optimal pharmacotherapy does not exclude significant risk of complications. Physiotherapy offers a set of non-pharmacological interventions capable to influence the key pathologic processes in diabetes mellitus.
