Abstract:
The article presents results of a study of gender differences of some sociodemographic predictors of harmful alcohol use among the stationary patients. The study stresses the necessity to consider gender differences in the development of preventive and treatment programs for the individuals with alcohol addiction. The data obtained can be used for improvement of diagnostics and provision of specialized care with consideration of gender, age, marital status and occupation of the patients
